We are seeking a detail-oriented candidate with experience in financial modeling, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of purchasing processes, price changes, and sourcing strategies. This role provides financial guidance and support to various stakeholders, ensuring accurate reporting, cost tracking, and strategic decision-making. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex data are essential. The position will be based out of Oak Brook, IL or Racine, WI and is eligible for our hybrid work environment, working three (3) days onsite and two (2) days remote/home office. Responsibilities Assist with month-end close reporting, including MPV reporting, journal entries, consolidation of results from various systems and reports, flash preparation, and analysis and investigation of any discrepancies or issues with reports and data. - Compile, consolidate, and distribute monthly reports categorized by segment, commodity, and plant, utilizing data from multiple systems. Prepare the monthly rolling forecast for the purchasing team.
- Conduct variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and prior performance, providing insightful presentations to support decision-making.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Parts & Service, and Purchasing teams on the standard cost setting process.
- Partner with commodity teams to track raw material costs and trends.
- Support the preparation of corporate forecasts, budgets, and strategic business plans.
- Support buyers in evaluating supplier quotes to ensure accurate forecasted savings.
- Identify and implement process improvements, support finance and business initiatives, and contribute to digitalization projects related to purchasing finance and business reporting. Assist in the development and enhancement of Power BI dashboards and other reporting systems to streamline data visualization and decision-making.
- Work closely with finance, purchasing, supply chain, and plant operations teams to align reporting, cost management, and forecasting processes with business objectives.The annual salary for this role is $84,375 - $123,750 (actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role).
Qualifications The qualified candidate will have: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
