Job PreviewThe dishwasher holds the responsibility of cleaning all the dishes, glasses, silverware, and cooking supplies for a restaurant. The dishwasher must keep the dish room and dish machine in clean, working order. Through on the job experience, dishwashers gain exposure to other aspects of operating a kitchen and learn job duties for other positions, such as dietary server and cook. The shifts vary from early morning 6:30 am to 3pm, and evenings 4pm to 7pm, with rotating weekends. Responsibilities:---Maintain the dish station, and support HACCP policies and procedures in the service of Patients, Residents, and Guests.---Set up carts with ice water and iced tea.---Presoak for silverware.---Tray line with napkins, wrapped silverware, trays, lids for plates, placemats.-----------------------Stage trays for server on line with tray, napkin, pallet, menu card, silverware.-------Sweep and mop floors.---Remove trash.---Other duties as assigned.Background check and drug screen disclaimer:Employees are required to pass a State and Federal background check and pass a drug and alcohol test.
