Job Preview
The dishwasher holds the responsibility of cleaning all the dishes, glasses, silverware, and cooking supplies for a restaurant. The dishwasher must keep the dish room and dish machine in clean, working order. Through on the job experience, dishwashers gain exposure to other aspects of operating a kitchen and learn job duties for other positions, such as dietary server and cook. The shifts vary from early morning 6:30 am to 3pm, and evenings 4pm to 7pm, with rotating weekends.
Responsibilities:---Maintain the dish station, and support HACCP policies and procedures in the service of Patients, Residents, and Guests.---Set up carts with ice water and iced tea.---Presoak for silverware.---Tray line with napkins, wrapped silverware, trays, lids for plates, placemats. ---Stage trays for server on line with tray, napkin, pallet, menu card, silverware. ---Sweep and mop floors.---Remove trash.---Other duties as assigned.

  Physical Demands:
  ---Be able to lift 50 pounds.---Able to push / pull delivery carts
  Working ConditionsWorks in a kitchen environment with exposure to hot foods / utensils, water, and potentially slick conditions. Safety procedures will be followed to limit hazards.
