Facilities Maintenance/HVAC Tech--About the Job:The Maintenance Tech performs maintenance and service throughout Hopedale Medical Complex and other properties owned and/or operated by Hopedale Medical Foundation. The Maintenance/HVAC Tech will maintain HVAC equipment throughout the complex--ResponsibilitiesInspect, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment, residential and commercial.Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems, residential and commercial.Inspect, repair, and maintain and repair fans, pumps, coolers, boilers, and general equipmentInspect, maintain, and repair plumbingComplete general maintenance tasksAssemble furnitureMaintain grounds, including snow removal and shoveling--Lawn equipment maintenancePM vehiclesPrepare areas for constructionFollow safety protocol and proceduresBackground check and drug screen disclaimer:Employees are required to pass a State and Federal background check and pass a drug and alcohol test. We test for illegal and legal substances, including cannabis (THC).--Knowledge/Skill/Ability RequirementsHigh school diploma or the equivalent is required.A valid license for HVAC technicians is required.HVAC Refrigerant Certification required.Valid Illinois driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance is requiredAbility to read, write, follow written, and oral instructions is required.Working knowledge of general maintenance skills in carpentry, electrical, mechanical, painting, boilers, plumbing, etc. is requiredKnowledge of HVAC systems resident and commercial is requiredAnalytical skills necessary to recognize, diagnose and repair equipment and system malfunctions are required.--Knowledge of safety procedures is required.--Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with others in determining and solving needs are required.Mathematical skills necessary to perform some calculations are required.Ability to learn to read blueprints and specifications.When on call, you will need to be within a 30-minute drive from Hopedale.Compensation details: 27-30 Hourly WagePIafe4fcbf4948-25660-37070726 More...
