This position is ideal for a candidate with a passion for cutting-edge science and a desire to make a significant impact on the therapeutic gene editing field. As part of a growing team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced researchers and develop your skills in cell biology, molecular biology, and biochemistry. You will also collaborate with colleagues from the genomics, bioinformatics and in vivo teams. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a strong scientific, educational background and hands-on experience to continue to build upon this foundation in a role with high impact potential.Responsibilities: - Develop and optimize methods for efficient gene editing in cell lines and primary cells.
- Deep understanding of gene editing experimental results.
- Ensuring high-quality data generation.
- Interpret experimental data, integrate findings with current scientific literature, and propose innovative solutions.
- Present findings to internal teams, multidisciplinary research groups, and at external meetings or conferences when appropriate.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior scientists and research associates, fostering a collaborative research environment.
- Identify and escalate technical challenges, incorporating feedback to optimize research outcomes.Qualifications:Required:
- Deep understanding of gene editing using CRISPR systems
- A PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related field with 2+ years of industry experience
- Experience working with hematopoietic stem cells
- Experience with working with RNA
- Experience with culturing cell lines and primary cells
- Experience with cellular and molecular biology techniques
- Proven ability to advance multiple projects and manage resourcesPreferred:
