<span>Modis is currently seeking a talented<B> Penetration Tester / Ethical Hacker</B> for an exciting job opportunity with our nationwide insurance client, located in the heart of Downtown Chicago.<br>&nbsp;<br>This PenTester will be reporting to the Director of Security and will be an integral member of a small security team handling all facets of security with the organization&rsquo;s custom home-grown applications.<br>&nbsp;<br>This opportunity is available on a contract to hire basis. &nbsp;The target start date will be in January 2015. &nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br><B>The day to day responsibilities for this Penetration Tester/ Ethical Hacker will include:</B><br>- Working closely with the development teams to provide analysis and recommendations for security concerns during each stage of the software development lifecycle <br>- Working on both intranet and external internet websites &nbsp;to conduct security assessments and identify / test issues.<br>- Using a variety of penetration testing such as Metasploit, WebInspect, or AppScan to conduct a thorough analysis of web applications.<br>- Conducting web application vulnerability testing using XSSF or similar cross-site scripting frameworks.<br>- Making targeted recommendations to the security team to enhance and improve the security of internal/ external websites.<br>- Participating in evaluating and testing emerging security technologies and frameworks in order to keep this team at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies<br>- Participating in peripheral security responsibilities, including vulnerability scanning and analysis, and implementing security controls.<br>&nbsp;<br><B>REQUIRED SKILLS &amp; CERTIFICATIONS</B><br>&nbsp;<br>- Preferred Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in an IT Related field (minimum Associates Degree required)<br>- &nbsp;CISSP Certification is highly preferred and will be given priority.<br>- CEH Certification preferred<br>- 3-5 years experience as a Web Application Penetration Tester<br>- Strong hands-on skills in PenTesting tools such as MetaSploit, WebInspect, AppScan<br>- Some knowledge/ experience with XSS/XSSF framework<br>&nbsp;<br>If you are interested in this or other Cyber Security / Penetration Testing jobs available through Modis, please respond today with your MS Word resume and contact information, or simply visit www.modis.com to view and apply for any number of the contract and full time jobs Modis has available across Chicagoland! <br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br></span> More...
