<span>Modis is currently seeking a <B>Network Security Engineer</B> for an exciting DIRECT HIRE job opportunity with our Global Legal client, located in the heart of Downtown Chicago / Central Loop.<br>&nbsp;<br>With 2500+ lawyers spanning offices in 50 countries across the world, our client is a proven leader in Legal Services, with a commitment to staying ahead of the game with the most cutting-edge infrastructure technologies. &nbsp;This is a fast-paced environment, with some off-hours support required to partner with various time zones, globally.<br>&nbsp;<br>This Network Security Engineer will be joining a large Network Infrastructure Team as a main point of contact for evaluating, designing, and maintaining Network and Systems Security for the US and locations across the globe. <br>&nbsp;<br><B>Daily responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):</B><br>&nbsp;<br>- Serving as a technical liaison and coordinator between the Core Network and Security groups.<br>- Taking on various projects to improve and enhance the current infrastructure<br>- Working on NEW! Implementation projects, which will involve product evaluations and product testing, network designs, actual hands-on implementations and performance evaluations.<br>- Spearheading various projects to evaluate and test out new technologies for the infrastructure. &nbsp;<br>- Designing, implementing and configuring enterprise Cisco and/or CheckPoint Firewalls<br>- Conducting Firewall Management for Cisco ASA and CheckPoint R76 Devices.<br>- Troubleshooting advanced network issues related to security (requires strong Routing and Switching expertise with Cisco equipment.<br>- Coordinating with Managed Services to ensure all Tier 1 support is handled appropriately<br>- Working occasional nights/weekends to support system upgrades and cutovers<br>&nbsp;<br><B>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</B><br>&nbsp;<br>- Required Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in an IT-related field (required)<br>- CISSP, CCSP, CEH certifications are all preferred (not required)<br>- CCNA/ CCNP Certifications are also a plus<br>- 3-5+ years hands-on experience supporting &amp; configuring Cisco PIX Firewalls<br>- 3-5+ years hands-on experience supporting &amp; configuring CheckPoint R75-R76 Firewalls<br>- Advanced experience with VPNs<br>&nbsp;<br><B>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION &amp; HOW TO APPLY</B> <br>&nbsp;<br>Salary range for this team-member position is $80,000 - $110,000, and includes a generous comprehensive benefits package (PPO Medical / Dental / Vision benefits package, voluntary benefits, 401K match, generous paid time off plan, performance bonus structure, commuter benefits, continued training &amp; education reimbursement, $ towards certifications, and more!<br>&nbsp;<br>If you are interested in this or other Network Security jobs available through Modis, please apply directly with your updated Word Resume, or visit www.modis.com/careers to view and apply for any of the jobs Modis has available across the US (Updated daily!) <br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br></span> More...
