Employees are responsible for producing a safe and quality food product per USDA guidelines and are required to report all food safety related problems to their Supervisor/Manager and/or to the Quality Assurance department to initiate immediate action. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify and make up orders off a pick sheet. Ensuring that outbound shipments are accurate and free from damage. Pick and stage outbound shipments. Stage a trailer to ensure that shipments are loaded properly, and maximum loads are achieved. Clear packaging area by securing and loading finished pallets, moving empty pallets. Maintain a safe work environment by watching out for foot traffic: following standards and procedures: complying with legal regulations per all forklift operations. Accomplish warehousing and organizational mission by completed related results as needed. Use scanner in the correct manner to properly scan and maintain accurate inventory levels. Complete necessary forklift maintenance and associated reports to ensure maximum forklift performance and overall plant safety. Participate in monthly inventory process.
