A great job-and a great future-awaits you! #BuddigProud #BuddigCareers JOB SUMMARY: As a General Labor/Packaging for Carl Buddig & Company you will be responsible for producing product by preparing and packaging cooked product for shipment with a safety -minded attitude that maintains and enhances a safety culture for the benefit of the Company and its employees. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: --- Load bulk meat logs (up to 30 pounds) into meat slicer at required production frequency levels. --- Perform random re-weight checks of sliced meat product. --- Review and inspect product. --- Place pre-determined amount of sliced meat products into packaging. --- Reject meat product that does not meet specifications. --- Place required number of packages into box. --- Inspect individual packages for proper quality specifications at a rate of 21 - 40 units per minute. --- Ensure that boxes are filled per required levels. --- Place completed boxes on pallet ensuring proper pallet configuration. --- Place empty pallet into position for proper stocking. --- Always maintain areas in a clean and sanitary manner. --- Inspect equipment for sanitary conditions. --- Inspect product for quality and any signs of foreign material contamination. --- Contribute to team effort by performing other duties as assigned and needed.
