In this role, you'll collaborate with multiple teams to build cloud cutting-edge cloud services and environments for the SIA Data Platform.As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:Building a world-class scalable microservice backend platform to ensure a robust, stable, and high-performing environmentWriting reliable, efficient, secure, and scalable code.Collaborating with various engineering teams, Data Science, product, and operations to develop one of the most innovative components of the product.Coding primarily in Python or Java, demonstrating proficiency in one languages.Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:Have good experience in object-oriented software developmentDemonstrate experience in Backend Development using Python, Java, or comparable (GO/Java/C#/C++/Rust)Have experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native environmentsHave experience in development within microservices architectureHave the ability to learn and become proficient in new subjects quickly.Experience working with one of the following technologies database: ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, RedisExperience working with one of the following event streaming technologies technologies: RabbitMQ, Kafka, Amazon SQS,Work in a way that works for youFlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
