Location: Hybrid (Alsip & Home)--Summary:The Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for managing and improving the profitability of specific business segments within Griffith Foods in alignment with our company strategy.-- The role delivers business analytics and develops recommendations to senior leadership and Sales to guide key business decisions with a direct impact to our company performance and strategy initiatives. Lead analytical support for senior leadership, Sales, and other internal stakeholders to develop and execute value-added pricing strategies and business proposals. Support sales with daily pricing activities with focus on margin improvement; support data analysis and sales reporting. Recommends and develops improvements to the existing pricing process, guidelines, and strategies.--Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for pricing action. Implement long and short-term business and pricing strategies to achieve profit and growth objectives--Essential Duties & Responsibilities:--Develops and executes profitable pricing strategies and business proposals in alignment with our company Purpose and strategy through collaboration with senior leadership, Sales, purchasing, product development, supply chain, and other cross-functional teams. Prepares financial scenario models and proposes pricing options based on value-add, market, and competitive information to drive financial performanceLeverages cross functional relationships with Supply Chain and risk management to minimize risk and waste exposureManages the pricing process within the Griffith Pricing Applications system and Microsoft Dynamics system with full responsibility for all sales analysis and data entry.Responsible for all client related pricing requests, including but not limited to:-- Price Lists, Line Item Details, and update/maintenance of clients pricing database.Manages expectations for meeting contribution margin and gross margin targets, and challenges sales to provide rationale on quotes below company guidelines.Provides ad hoc sales information to internal and external customers.-- Maintains and executes account profitability analysis and price review process as needed using Protocols system and reports.Maintains cost records for discounts and incentives, provides reporting needed for internal & external clients.Manages Intercompany Pricing TransactionsAssists in financial forecasting and fiscal year budgeting process through effective collaboration and communication with Sales and detailed analysis.Supports Client RFI, (Request For Information) and RFP's (Request For Price)Assists in preparing and executing mass price updates within urgent periods as needed.--Qualifications:--Bachelors degree (BA or BS) in finance, business administration, or related field from a four year college or university.Advanced EXCEL usage including but not limited to VLOOKUP, pivot table usage and development, formula development.Minimum Two years related experience.Work independently and manage projects effectivelyGood written and verbal communication skills.#LIDNI
