CRNA opening in Idaho - Located in Grangeville, ID - Spokane 170m - Full-time, permanent position - Competitive compensation and benefitsEssential Duties: - Evaluates the patient pre-operatively by interviewing and examining the patient, assessing data, and selecting appropriate anesthesia plan. - Administers anesthetics in accordance with clinical privileges delineated. - Monitors, interprets, and evaluates information derived from monitors intra-operatively on the patient of any age group and physical status, protects patient's life functions and vital organs. - Performs medical non-surgical procedures, e.g. IV insertion, intubation, hemodynamic and electrolyte balance, airway management in routine and acute medical situations. - Monitors and evaluates patients post-operatively. - Utilizes patient controlled anesthesia (PCA) to alleviate post-op and/or labor pain by using IV or epidural PCA. - Maintains anesthesia in a safe operating condition. - Maintains accounting of controlled substances. - Maintains and administers pain clinic procedures. Maintains and keeps current on anesthesia equipment. - Participates in preparing and maintaining an annual budget for the Anesthesia department. - Performance Improvement: Responsible for participation in SHCs PI program, including development and review of internal department quality monitors, tracking and reporting quarterly PI findings in a timely manner, reporting all patient quality issues, and facilitating on-going education for staff regarding their role in the PI process.
