Lifeway Mobility is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician / Installer to join our mission of enhancing the lives of individuals with limited mobility. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of various accessibility solutions including ramps, lifts, and specialized bathroom equipment. This position is ideal for those who are passionate about making a tangible difference in people’s lives through technical expertise and personalized service in the healthcare and medical field. Install, test, and repair accessibility equipment following prescribed protocols. Conduct on-site evaluations of customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for clients post-installation. Maintain accurate installation logs and compliance documentation for regulatory purposes. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to customize installations to meet specific patient needs. Educate clients and their caregivers on how to safely use and maintain the equipment. Drive company vehicle to locations primarily in residential settings and perform on-site repairs as needed. Strong technical and mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in elderly and healthcare environments. Proficient in using hand and power tools. Ability to read, interpret installation blueprints, and follow detailed instructions. Customer-oriented approach and the ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion.
