Position Overview The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst ensures the reliability, functionality, usability and performance of University of Idaho software systems and applications. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test processes to maintain high-quality standards across all projects. The QA Analyst collaborates with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to identify issues early and ensure delivery of secure, stable, and user-friendly systems. Duties may include: Develop and execute manual and automated test plans Ensure software meets accessibility, usability, and compliance standards Identify, document, and track software defects Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues Ensure compliance with university policies and security standards Contribute to continuous process improvement in testing practices Other duties as assigned Required Experience Two years of experience in: Software testing and quality assurance processes Writing and executing test plans and scripts Using bug-tracking and test management tools Developing and maintaining automated test suites Working in collaborative development environments (e.g., Agile/Scrum) Testing across multiple platforms, browsers, or operating systems Proficient in team-based version control (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps) More...
