Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $11,890 – $12,530 (locum tenens pay) Location: Boise, ID 83706 (primary); occasional coverage at Nampa, ID location Employment Type: Locum tenens anesthesiologist (physician job) Duration: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026) Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour (07:00 – 17:00), Monday–Friday Call Schedule: In-house weeknights (1–2 nights/month) and in-house weekends (1 weekend/month) Setting: Level II Trauma Center with supportive perioperative staff and a 4:1 supervision ratio Job Requirements (Anesthesiology) Minimum 1 year of post-residency experience as an Anesthesiologist Valid Idaho medical license or eligibility via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) DEA and CSR required Ability to cover at least 2 full weeks per month (preference for full-time coverage) Responsibilities – Anesthesia & Perioperative Care Provide anesthesia care for general, obstetric, pediatric, pain medicine, and critical care cases (no cardiac, transplants, or complex pediatric cases) Perform independent cases or work within a supervising/care team model with CRNAs as needed Utilize regional anesthesia techniques where appropriate Assist with OB coverage while CRNA sits the section Participate in in-house call rotation for weeknights and weekends Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, CRNAs, and the perioperative team to ensure high-quality patient care Why Boise, Idaho?
