Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years OR RN experience required. An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse experienced in Operating Room care to serve in a dynamic healthcare environment located in Kuna, ID. This travel nursing role offers a unique schedule with consistent days each week, allowing for work-life balance while contributing to a level 2 trauma centers exceptional patient care. Schedule/Hours: 10-hour shifts from 06:15 to 17:15 Days worked will be consistent weekly but not consecutive On-call requirement: 2-3 twelve-hour shifts every 6 weeks (covering weekends and holidays), either 07:00-19:00 or 19:00-07:00 Up to one stay-late shift per week with a 30-minute response time for call Qualifications/Desired Experience: Current and valid RN license with Operating Room experience Ability to respond promptly to call with a 30-minute availability for a level 2 trauma center Strong critical thinking and clinical skills in perioperative care Familiarity with trauma protocols and surgical procedures preferred Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to support interdisciplinary collaboration Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced operating room setting Prepare patients, equipment, and the surgical environment for various procedures Monitor patients during surgery and respond to emergencies as needed Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow Participate in on-call rotation and adhere to rapid response expectations About Kuna, ID: Kuna offers a blend of small-town charm and easy access to outdoor recreation in the scenic Pacific Northwest.
