Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a registered nurse specializing in operating room care at a level 2 trauma center. This travel assignment offers a consistent schedule with 12-hour shifts from 6:15 AM to 5:15 PM. Shifts are scheduled on the same days each week but are not consecutive. The role requires call coverage 2 to 3 times within a six-week period, including weekends and holidays, with shifts alternating between 7 AM7 PM and 7 PM7 AM. Responsibilities: Provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow Respond promptly to call shifts, maintaining a 30-minute response time as part of a trauma center team Participate in occasional stay-late shifts with on-call responsibilities during evening hours Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures in a high-acuity clinical setting Qualifications: Current RN licensure with experience in operating room nursing Ability to work 12-hour shifts as outlined, including call and stay-late shifts Experience in a trauma center environment preferred Strong clinical skills with excellent communication and teamwork abilities Location: This opportunity is based in Boise, Idaho, a city known for its vibrant culture, outdoor recreational opportunities, and high quality of life.
