Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. An occupational therapy opportunity is available for licensed professionals seeking to provide in-person support within a school district serving diverse student needs in Kimberly, ID. This role involves delivering direct and consultative OT services across the district, focusing on enhancing the functional abilities of students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Location: Kimberly, Idaho (On-site only) Position Type: Contract (August 2025 June 2026) Schedule: 35 hours per week Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to students with IEPs in various school settings throughout the district Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed to support student success Serve as an on-site OT resource to replace virtual services, ensuring consistent and timely care Manage a reasonable caseload in partnership with one other OT to cover district-wide needs Qualifications: Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Idaho Valid Pupil Service Certificate with Occupational Therapist endorsement Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with school staff and families Commitment to supporting students physical, cognitive, and sensory needs through evidence-based therapy Benefits of this contract role include immersive districtwide experience, professional collaboration, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the educational development of children with disabilities.
