Registered Nurse Operating Room Location: Irwin, PA Job Type: Contract (36 hours per week, except orientation) This opportunity calls for experienced Registered Nurses skilled in perioperative care to support a fast-paced operating room environment. You will participate in a rotating 12-hour shift schedule covering days, evenings, and nights to provide critical surgical patient care. Call duties and weekend shiftsincluding Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundaysare required, with call occurring on weekdays and/or weekends. Responsibilities Include: Delivering high-quality nursing care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and comfort Assisting surgical teams during procedures by preparing equipment and monitoring patient status Responding promptly to call assignments, providing skilled care during off-shift hours Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate perioperative services Maintaining meticulous documentation and adhering to infection control protocols, including Flu and COVID-19 vaccination requirements (medical/religious exemptions accepted) Desired Qualifications: Current and valid RN licensure Proven experience in operating room nursing Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, including call and weekends Strong communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and shift changes Location Insight: Irwin, Pennsylvania, offers a welcoming community with suburban comforts and proximity to urban amenities.
