They will work with project stakeholders to identify and build a strategy to procure goods and services specific to the project. The Category Manager will maintain a project tracker, inclusive of budget and schedule. Category manager will facilitate regular coordination meetings with project group. Category manager will build strategies for spend analysis/mapping, external market analysis, and vendor management. He/She will lead project specific sourcing initiatives.Key Responsibilities Develops plan for projects with high-level criticality and complexity. Builds strong stakeholder relationships to prioritize and deliver projects. Manages strategic vendor relationships and performance to ensure delivery of service, quality, cost and supply commitments. Lead sourcing projects including RFI, RFP, RFQ and contract development. Initiation and negotiation of project related contracts. Owner of contract from start to project close. Own the development and execution, contract amendments, Letters of intent, and addendums. Resolution of contract disputesTypical EducationBachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university
Relevant Experience3+ years related experience and/or training
