Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology Join a collaborative and highly respected neonatal team in Savannah, Georgia, at a facility featuring a 92-bed Level IV NICU. Experience the lifestyle advantages of coastal living in one of the most charming cities in the United States. Job Responsibilities: - Provide advanced neonatal care in a 92-bed Level IV NICU.
- Collaborate with a team of 9 neonatologists and 8 full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioners.
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered neonatal services.
- Manage critically ill and premature neonates in a high-acuity setting.
- Participate in multidisciplinary neonatal care planning.
- Work alongside pediatric subspecialists across multiple disciplines.
- Support regional neonatal referral services for coastal Georgia.
- Participate in a collaborative academic environment with resident rotations through the NICU.
- Contribute to family-centered neonatal care initiatives.
- Practice within a supportive and mentorship-focused environment.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and clinical excellence initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to hospital and regulatory standards.
- Deliver compassionate neonatal care aligned with organizational missions and standards.
Qualifications: - Current APRN national specialty certification.
- Minimum of a master s degree in nursing (MSN or higher).
- Neonatology training/fellowship (no exemptions).
- Neonatology experience (experienced candidates only).
- Clean malpractice/license history (highly preferred).
- Willingness to obtain a GA Medical License.
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active).
- DEA must be obtained prior to start.
- Specifically note if the candidate requires visa support (J1/H1B).
License and Certification Requirements: - Master s degree in nursing (MSN or higher).
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner specialty certification.
- Current APRN national specialty certification.
- GA Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
- Clean malpractice/license history (highly preferred).
