Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for bariatric patients. Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations and treatments. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of patient care. Instruct individuals and families on topics such as health education or bariatric surgery preparations and recovery. Communicate with multidisciplinary team members, providing pertinent patient information. Ensure the operational readiness of medical equipment and adherence to facility policies and procedures. Knowledge of bariatric patient care techniques and best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to execute detailed nursing care plans. Adept in using medical software for patient management. High emotional intelligence to empathize with and educate patients. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment. BLS Certification (CPR).
