PCPs are expected to treat a wide range of medical conditions, develop long-term, personal relationships with their patients, produce individualized healthcare programs based on patient historical data, and offer continuous support and health management advice. - No Obstetrics - Clinic Hours are Monday – Friday 7:30-5 with administrative time - After hours call service - 18 – 22 patients per day (pending complexity) - Laboratory services on-site - State-of-the-art technology with integrated EMR and electronic prescribing - No admitting; No nights Required Education, Experience & Skills - Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.). - Board certification by ABMS (ABFM/ABIM) in Family Practice or Internal Medicine required. - Current, valid, and unrestricted Georgia Medical License required. - Valid DEA required. - Completion of a family practice/internal medicine residency. - Possess a working understanding and support of a managed care environment.
