Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Registered Nurse with Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) specialization is needed for a contract role in Perry, GA. This position involves caring for patients undergoing a wide array of surgical procedures in a facility recognized for its Level 1 Trauma Designation, teaching excellence, and specialized centers in chest pain and stroke care. Key Responsibilities: - Provide expert nursing care in 20 operating room suites and 2 cystoscopy rooms. - Support patients through diverse surgeries including general, orthopedic, neurosurgery, and cardiovascular procedures such as open heart and vascular surgeries. - Utilize advanced technology such as EPIC Optime EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication systems, and Phillips monitors. - Participate in weekend call rotations and holiday on-call requirements. - Comply with the hospital's safety, teamwork, and inclusion standards. Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a General OR setting; 5 years preferred in CVOR. - Active RN license with BLS certification required. - Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred, with graduation from an accredited program. - Ability to work 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am shifts, with a 6-week scheduling cycle. - Willingness to engage in orientation and ongoing training.
