What You’ll Be Doing Assist with troubleshooting, inspecting, and maintaining mechanical equipment to support safe and reliable operations. Perform basic repairs and component replacements under the guidance of experienced mechanics. Support routine preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime. Learn to safely use tools, equipment, and diagnostic instruments required for mechanical work. Participate in shift handoffs, safety checks, and housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work area. What Are We Looking For Interest in developing mechanical knowledge and hands-on repair skills. Ability to follow direction, learn new processes, and apply mechanical concepts. Commitment to working safely around heavy equipment and industrial environments. Strong problem-solving approach and willingness to contribute to team goals. Reliability in meeting shift expectations, including 2nd shift schedule requirements. Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
