Opportunity: Hematologist/Oncologist or Medical Oncologist - Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology or Medical Oncology. Job Details: Join a collaborative team of 10 providers (8 physicians and 2 advanced practice clinicians) using an interdisciplinary approach to patient care Provide care at the main campus clinic overlooking Lake Superior, at an outreach cancer center, and consultative services in the hospital Access cutting-edge treatments, latest technology, and current oncology clinical trials Participate in the NCI Community Oncology Research Program with industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated trials Work in a thriving intellectual environment with multiple tumor board and multidisciplinary conferences Average daily patient load includes 12-14 follow-up visits and 1-2 new patients Benefit from hospitalist coverage for admissions and night calls Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system Collaborate with specialty services including Medical Hematology/Oncology, Pediatric Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Oncologic Surgery, Interventional Radiology, Palliative Care, and Hospice Serve a regional population of approximately 460,000 Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
