Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 Year Minimum License: Valid State License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Minimum 1 year of experience; First timers are accepted. Patient population includes adolescents to geriatrics. All surgery disciplines. Ratio/Census: 1:2. Description: The position requires a registered nurse with experience in the post-anesthesia care unit. Candidates must have valid certifications in BLS and ACLS. The nurse will provide care to a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The position involves all disciplines of surgery. The staffing ratio is 1 nurse to 2 patients. Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be required. On-call and weekday/weekend rotation may be required. Travelers should be available to work one major holiday if assigned during that time. Compliance with all requirements is mandatory before the start of the assignment. References from supervisory personnel are preferred during the application process. Pre-application fees may apply for certain special roles.
