We are seeking dependable Regional Class A CDL Drivers to safely operate a truck and complete regional deliveries while complying with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Regional drivers will typically travel within a specific geographic area, ensuring timely transportation and delivery of goods between various locations. This role demands dedication to safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service. Transport goods, materials, and other freight across regions safely and efficiently. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance where necessary. Plan routes in conjunction with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries that maximize efficiency and lower costs. Collect and verify delivery instructions from appropriate sources, escalating concerns to dispatch as needed. Maintain accurate logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair statuses, complying with applicable state and federal regulations. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions and ensure that all loading and unloading is handled smoothly. Ensure that cargo is secured properly compliant with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting hazardous goods.
