We are seeking an experienced Distribution Engineer with 5 to 10 years of expertise in the design, development, and management of utility distribution systems. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and regulatory compliance of systems delivering electrical power, water, natural gas, or telecommunications services. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to project execution and system optimization. Key Responsibilities: System Design: Develop detailed designs and layouts for distribution networks, including power lines, pipelines, or telecom cables, tailored to project specifications and regulatory standards. Network Optimization: Enhance the efficiency and reliability of distribution systems through data analysis, modeling, and system planning. Project Management: Lead end-to-end project execution—planning, design, implementation, and maintenance—while ensuring timeliness, budget adherence, and quality delivery. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all systems meet federal, state, and local safety, environmental, and industry-specific regulations. Technical Analysis: Perform advanced analysis such as load flow studies, fault analysis, and voltage drop calculations to guarantee optimal system performance. System Upgrades & Maintenance: Identify system improvement needs, develop upgrade plans, and schedule preventative maintenance to minimize downtime. Quality Assurance: Oversee design and construction reviews to ensure alignment with engineering standards and best practices. Documentation: Maintain precise records, schematics, and technical documentation for current and historical project work. Safety Leadership: Enforce safety protocols to protect field personnel, clients, and the general public. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams, technicians, and project managers to meet technical and operational objectives. Customer & Stakeholder Support: Provide expert technical support and address inquiries related to system functionality and performance.
