We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsSeeking a Division Quality Coordinator who will be responsible for coordination and implementation of the Laboratory Service Line quality program in the assigned division(s) which includes operationalizing laboratory quality initiatives, monitoring quality processes, and ensuring ongoing quality evaluation and improvement. The position covers the respective Division with the expectation of travel to each specific site and may be facility-based or work from home depending on need. Travel expectancy is 20-30%.You Will:
- Implements performance monitoring and improvement that support quality and safety initiatives.
- Assists in identification and communication of "best practices" in the division to support enterprise standardization and sharing.
- Lead proactive laboratory process improvement initiatives, provide feedback on standardization opportunities, evaluate success through pre-established criteria, and increased involvement of staff and pathology medical directors toward a culture of quality.
- Lead proactive laboratory safety activities to create hospital laboratories that are highly reliable as reflected in reduced errors, elimination of unsafe processes, and increased involvement of staff and pathology medical directors toward a culture of safety.
- Collaborate with Corporate and Division medical leaders to support data analysis, reporting, process and outcomes improvement. Contributing to ongoing enhancement of enterprise quality reporting methods and dashboards.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate laboratory quality and risk performance data across the division, while noting trends, and identifying and prioritizing opportunities to improve.
- Evaluate compliance with state and federal regulations and standards, including but not limited to CMS, CLIA, CAP, and TJC.You Should Have:
