OPEN POSITION:PsychiatristSCHEDULE:- Full-Time- Monday to Friday- 8:00am to 5:00pmCOMPENSATION:- $225,000+ Base Salary, depending on experience- $10,000 Sign-On Bonus- Malpractice Coverage- Health / Dental / Vision / Life Insurance- Paid Time Off Package- License / DEA Fees Paid- 401k w/ 4% Employer Match- Details NegotiableLOCATION:Macon, GeorgiaCOMPANY PROFILE:This physician-owned private practice operates outpatient offices in Macon and Warner Robins. The group was founded in 2017 and currently employs a team of two (2) physicians and four (4) nurse practitioners, who are supported by dedicated clinical and administrative team members. They are currently seeking a psychiatrist for their new service line in Macon, which they are adding due to patient need. The practice currently provides full scope primary care services to patients of all ages.POSITION DESCRIPTION:The new psychiatrist will have some flexibility in working with the practice to determine the details of the job description, as this is a newly-created position due to an increasing demand from patients for general, non-acute psychiatric services.The practice is currently marketing the psychiatric service line and receiving new patient referrals, but the majority of patients will be referred from the practice's primary care providers, who have a large existing patient base.The practice will not see acute patients; most patients will be seen for depression, anxiety, and similar conditions.The work will include, but not be limited to:- general psychiatric evaluations- counseling services- medication managementThe practice sees patients of all ages for primary care, but can consider a provider with age restrictions in their psychiatric practice scope.The practice estimates that the new psychiatrist will see up to 20 patients per day, but is flexible on this number based on the new provider's feedback regarding appropriate visit lengths.The practice uses the eClinicalWorks EHR and will provide all necessary resources, assistants, etc. that the new psychiatrist requires.REQUIREMENTS:- Georgia medical license- DEA- Board Certified, Psychiatry (eligibility will be accepted with pending certification)- 1+ year of practice experienceHOW TO APPLY:To apply for this position, please send your resume to Jenn Kunkel at jenn@chsrecruiting.com or call (773) 998-1272.Please visit www.chsrecruiting.com/jobs for a full list of available opportunities at CHS Recruiting.
