BAE Systems, Inc. is a top-ten prime contractor to the U.S. Department of Defense, well positioned to support customers in what is the world's largest defense market is HIRING NOW!We are seeking to hire Journeyman Operator - LIMA - Arabic Yemeni (JO-LIMA-AU) Level 2The Operational Language Analyst will perform a variety of tasks required to process voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT Operations.#LL01Required Education, Experience, & Skills 24/7 operational support to the government by performing tasks related to signal detection, identification, interception, and location. Their primary focus is on processing voice communications.Required Experience: - Completion of the DoD Client JBOC Course and DoD Client PGO Certification.
- Language Analyst Qualifications:
- Audio Translation: Proficiency at skill level 2 (per the ILR Audio Translation skill level descriptions) from the required language (Arabic - Yemeni) into idiomatic, standard American English.
- Equivalent of four years of full-time combined cryptologic language processing, related language, and/or related cryptologic experience.
- Cryptologic Operations: Tasks such as scanning, sorting, recovering essential information, producing quality controlled GISTs, translations, and transcripts, updating operational aids, and drafting intelligence reports.
- Related Language Experience: Oral interpretation, written translation, audio translation, audio transcription, document exploitation, and teaching the required language.
- Related Cryptologic Experience: Target development, network analysis, speaker identification, language identification, and document exploitation.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Desired Experience (not mandatory but beneficial):
