ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned1. Supervises the day-to-day administration of personnel policies and practices at assigned location2. Oversees and assigns employee training and orientation programs3. Oversees the administration of compensations and benefits programs at the location to ensure these programs are in line with corporate programs4. Recommends program changes or enhancements to meet human resource requirements5. Submits budget recommendations for personnel operations6. Coordinates the delivery of effective affirmative action, and other employee relations programs7. Assists with the preparation of separation notices for employees separating with cause and may conduct exit interviews to determine reason behind separations8. Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover9. May represent company at personnel-related hearings and investigations10. Advocating for employees, ensuring that their concerns and issues are communicated to management.11. Maintaining and updating all display boards, electronic monitors, paperwork, signage and visual displays at Pilgrim s, in accordance with the Policy and Procedures Manual. .EXPECTATIONS all Team Members12. Observe & enforce all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies13. Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you work effectively and cooperatively with customers, clients, coworkers, and leadership teams.14. Participates in process improvement and problem solving utilizing continuous improvement and rational thinking methodologies such as Six Sigma, and participates in or supports employee programs15. Recognizes and acts on incidents and safety risks. Consistently practices and enforces safe work habits and drives those habits throughout the organizationKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES Bachelor s degree in a related field or additional related work experience will be considered in lieu of the education requirement 3-5 years previous experience is required In-depth working knowledge of Employment Laws/Regulations and Human Resources policies and procedures Considerable skill in problem solving, conflict resolution, and dealing with confidential information/situations Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written Working knowledge of benefits administration and management practices Basic understanding of Training Program and further development of team members Good computer skills including competency in Microsoft Excel and Word SoftwareEOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled More...
