Purpose: - As -the -Vice President of Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Edible's continued success and innovation -by -harnessing the power of data to drive -enterprise-wide -strategic decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experiences. You will lead our analytics team and -provide -critical insights that shape the future of our business. What that looks like day to day: -
- Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy that aligns with the company's goals and -growth initiatives, -ensuring -data-driven decision-making across the organization
- Define clear objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics as well as develop dashboards and reports to monitor company-wide performance, providing regular updates to the executive team and stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with various departments, including marketing, e-commerce, finance, and supply chain, to -provide -data-driven solutions and support business -objectives.
- Lead the analysis of data to extract actionable insights, trends, and opportunities. Use data to inform critical business decisions, -optimize -processes, and drive performance improvements.
- Communicate insights effectively through data visualization tools and reports, ensuring that complex data is understandable and actionable by non-technical stakeholders
- Oversee the development and maintenance of robust data infrastructure and analytics platforms. Ensure data accuracy, availability, and security.
- Lead the exploration and implementation of advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI, to discover new opportunities -and optimize -operations.
- Manage the analytics department budget effectively, making strategic investments in tools, technology, and talent to support the company's goals.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies, ensuring data quality, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop predictive models to forecast customer behavior, sales trends, and inventory needs, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure data accuracy, security and accessibility throughout the organization -
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics. Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the analytics team.
- Team Leadership: -Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of data analysts, data scientists, and business intelligence professionals
- Manage relationships with third-party analytics and data providers. Location: As our VP, Analytics you will work onsite at our Sandy Springs, Georgia Corporate Office - Requirements:
- Extensive -experience leading best-in-class enterprise data and business intelligence -strategy, preferably -in -an -eCommerce or retail environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's in data science, analytics, or a related discipline is preferred
- Strong analytical skills, with -expertise -in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools.
- Proficiency -in data management and architecture, including database technologies and data warehousing.
- Proficiency -in data analytics tools and software, such as SQL, Python, R, and business intelligence platforms.
- Experience with machine learning and data visualization tools is a plus.
- Experience managing budget within the analytics department About You:
