Our client is currently seeking a Design Engineer for their manufacturing facility in the Birmingham, AL area.This job will have the following responsibilities:*Provide technical sales support*Create and analyze CFD models*Execute projects using CAD software creating 3D models/assemblies/drafts of highly detailed components*Investigate and develop new product concepts*Set up and conduct tests of completed units and components to evaluate design, improved performance, and overall quality*Multi-faceted materials (metals, plastics, composites) highly preferredQualifications & Requirements:*3+ years' applicable experience desired*Bachelor's Degree from an ABET accredited university/college in Mechanical Engineering required*Strong 3D CAD software (Inventor, Solid Edge, SolidWorks, etc.) required*Strong understanding of NSF, UL, refrigeration, fluid dynamics, ergonomics, AC/DC power & circuitry, and electric motor technology required*Excellent ability to clearly communicate ideas and instructions to internal and external customers, managers, and colleaguesUI 694261 More...
