Duties and Responsibilities: - CNC Mill Programmer Operator will conduct complete inspections of parts, how machine runs, and preventative maintenance.
- CNC Mill Programmer Operator quotes and processes new jobs
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- CNC Mill Programmer Operator maintains equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements and troubleshooting malfunctions.
- CNC Mill Programmer Operator notifies supervisors if there are any problems with the machine.
- Produce machine parts by programming from drawings, setting up, and operating through part completion.
- CNC Mill Programmer writes, store, and retrieves programs for machining parts.
- Plan machining time by reviewing work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and material specifications.
- CNC Mill Programmer communicates special tooling and stock tooling needed for machine/job.
- CNC Mill Programmer Operator will read blueprints, operate, and inspects jobs.
- Runs mills.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of G&M Code and AutoCAD. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Equipment: - Able to read and interpret blueprints.
