- Responsibilities. Responsible for streamlining the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to improve developer productivity, delivery speed, and code quality. Develop infrastructure software for CI/CD. Identify automation opportunities within current SDLC process. Develop code for infrastructure cloud automation. Build and support large scale distributed systems. Evangelize best practices in infrastructure development. Deliver frictionless Cloud infrastructure experience. Design, Implementation, and document to review with all stakeholders. Promote DevOps principles and culture across the software engineering organization. Support and improve our tools for continuous build, automated testing, and release management. TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, related Engineering disciplines, or related field of study and six (6) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and four (4) years of related experience.
- Work Experience. Four (4) years of experience must include: AWS Cloud; Ansible, bash scripting and Terraform; Kubernetes; CI/CD Tools including Atlassian Products Bitbucket, Crowd, Confluence, Artifactory, SonarQube and ECR; Build processes, repository managers and branching concepts; Concourse CI/CD; Parallel and Distributed Systems; Event Driven Systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ); SQL query; Observability (Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus); Git (Branch, Rebase, Merge, Tag); RDBMS and NoSQL (MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB); Networking (UDP, TCP, Routing); AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, Lamda, Cloudfront); Public Cloud; and Design & Coding including OOPS Concepts, Principles and Design Patterns.
