Our client is currently seeking a Level 3 Windows Systems Administrator to join their team onsite in Alpharetta, GA. Virtual desktop and application management and troubleshooting of complex issues highly desired but not required for this role. Duties and Responsibilities: -
Consult, configure, deploy, monitor, and manage hybrid Data Center compute resources -
Focus mainly on Windows, Unix, or both operating systems, as well as the interaction and management of established cloud technology back-ends such as AWS EC2, Azure Virtual Servers, Hyper-V, and VMWare Hybrid Architectures -
Manage Security and Compliance activities for server equipment, thus ensuring the data and computing resources are secured and in stable condition -
Manage the SCCM and / or WSUS to server and / or workstation target collections -
Own and implement the Knowledge Management Practice by creating, updating, and deprecating work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures -
Own escalations by clients, junior, and mid-level administrators and provide technical guidance as needed -
Interface with technology vendors to solve complex challenges -
Perform administration activities such as creating, modifying, and deleting users, optimizing remote access, and security access for messaging systems, databases, and web applications -
Participate in major incident calls and client meetings as a subject matter expert in the aforementioned areas -
Consult, design, and implement system firmware and Operating Systems patching procedures and other compliance measures -
Create reporting solutions that capture overall data center health, as well as routine analysis of said reports -
Manage escalated incidents with a high level of complexity and problem tickets from junior and mid-level systems administrators -
Responsible for vendor engagements for resolution of complex technical challenges -
Participate in Change Enablement lifecycle, such as: proposal, drafting, coordination, and advisory board participation -
Participate as subject matter expert in major incident calls, solution design calls with client and / or internal architecture teams -
Provide technical guidance to the client's technical resources, junior, mid-level systems administrators -
Primary contributor to Knowledge Management Practice -
Create, review, and retire work instructions and SOPs for routine or advanced tasks Skills and Qualifications: |
