Chemours is seeking a Continuous Improvement Project Manager to join our growing Minerals team. This position will be available at Florida or Georgia mines and report directly to the Continuous Improvement Program Manager.

The Continuous Improvement Project Manager plays a crucial role in optimizing the mine's operations and driving sustainable growth with Mine Excellence, Mill Excellence or Maintenance Excellence. You will be responsible for leading a team of sub-project managers, subject matter experts, and an analyst, working closely with mine leadership, implementing best practices to operationalize and evaluate the impact of these subprojects, and transmitting successful across assets.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead a team of subproject managers, SMEs, and analysts to execute project pilots
  • Compile KPIs on weekly basis, and generate weekly reports
  • Review and analyze data to make informed decisions and initiate corrective actions.
  • Ideate alternative solutions and course correct as needed
  • Update template presentation materials and war room boards weekly
  • Conduct weekly alignment meetings
  • Provide inputs for monthly updates to senior management and request leadership support as needed
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from Program Manager
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact pilot success.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members
  • Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to optimize efficiency
  • Delegate work as needed to Support Analyst


    The following is required for this role:
    • Three to five years' experience in mining;
    • Proficiency in planning, executing, and monitoring projects to achieve defined objectives
    • Ability to coordinate among diverse stakeholders
    • Proficiency in identifying and resolving complex issues that arise during project implementation
    • Expertise in identifying and mitigating potential risks that may impact project success
    • Excellent communication skills


      The following is preferred for this role:
      • Ideal PMs will have sufficient domain knowledge of project focus
      • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to gather, interpret, and draw insights
      • Understanding of resource allocation and optimization to ensure efficient pilots
      • Ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including mine management, operations, SMEs, OEM and vendors
      • Ability and willingness to lead and guide teams through project pilot

        Pay Range (in local currency):
        $81,715.00 - $127,680.00

        Chemours Level:
        24

        Annual Bonus Target:
        6%
