As a Systems Administrator 3 you will be responsible for the functions outlined below: Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures.
    • Provide enterprise systems administration and technical support companywide to ensure high availability of mission critical technical services Proactively manage and maintain configurations and deployments of systems, servers, and related solutions.
    • Corporate infrastructure support including Windows server configuration and administration, Knowledge of typical network and server infrastructure implementations, Familiarity with Firewall, VPN, and Intrusion Detection & Preventions Appliances, Various levels of Customer & Technical Support services and Windows Domain and Active Directory management
    • Participate in development and management of diverse systems and solutions
    • Participate in the configuration and deployment efforts of critical operating environments
    • Diagnose and identify system and infrastructure efficiency improvements based on service requirements
    • Provide Windows Server support in Physical and Virtual Environments
    • Serve as lead support technician
    • Provide Help Desk Support for network, server, and software related issues including afterhours support as part of a shared escalation team
    • Provide routine preventative maintenance on all systems and servers, to include, but not limited to, patching, updates and upgrades
    • Troubleshooting and repairing workstations when required
    • Provide customers with various levels of technical and software support
    • Implement and maintain services including M365, Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy, File and Folder permissions, Antivirus Software and other Corporate Infrastructure services.
    • Working knowledge of systems management and deployment appliances
    • Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environment
    • Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.
    • Provide customers with various levels of technical and software support
    • Working knowledge of systems management and deployment appliances
    • Participates in the company's efforts to continuously improve in Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.
    • Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environment
    • Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
      • Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems with 4 - 7 years of experience; or a combination of related experience, education and/or training to sufficiently and successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
      • Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
      • Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
      • Operations experience in a production environment preferred.
      • Strong working knowledge of various technologies, experience with technologies common to manufacturing environments is preferred.
      • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the field.
      • Teamwork and the ability to cooperate and work proactively with others is a must.
      • Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
      • Ability to use computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program write software, set up functions, enter data or process information.
      • Working knowledge of systems management and deployment appliances.
      • Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
      • Analytical and problem solving skills.
      • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies.
      • Proven ability to lead a progressive IT group.
      • Broad knowledge of data processing systems, concepts, and methodologies.
      • Strong troubleshooting skills.
      • Experience in implementing effective and innovative software development methodologies.
      • PowerShell, Visual Basic, and Networking.
      • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
      • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work under deadlines and pressure.
      • Ability to work, interact and effectively communicate with all company officials, employees, vendors, customers, etc.
      • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget.
      • Competent with computer software such as Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook Word)
      • VMware, MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA A+, Network +, and Server + Certifications
      • Demonstrated ability to recognize and work in accordance with our Permission to Play Values. Physical Requirements:
        • Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds.
        • Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the normal work day.
        • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.
        • Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.
