You will be a part of an Environmental Safety & Health (ESH) team supporting operations on Fleet Ballistic Missile program. This position requires a broad ESH background to include solid understanding of Environmental, OSHA programs, and Operations Safety. Responsibilities will include: • Participating in the recognition, evaluation, and control of environmental and safety hazards arising in or from the workplace or facility • Conducting internal compliance audits • Annual recordkeeping • Training and other non-routine ESH projects as needed • Occasional off shift and weekend support • Occasional travel Our employees working in this level of position typically have 2 - 5 years of experience. Basic Qualifications • The candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and associated compliance programs, and experience in ESH subject areas, particularly environmental science, industrial safety, including elevated work, confined space entry, Lockout/Tag out, cranes and other industrial safety programs as well as emergency response. • Reporting and permitting hazardous materials management, hazardous waste and compliance experience. • Bachelor’s or Master's degree from accredited college in a related discipline with 1 years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, candidates who have 10 years ESH experience will also be considered. • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance. Must be a US citizen. Desired skills • Large experience with environmental programs such as Chemical and Hazardous Waste Management • Bachelor's degree in an ES&H related field • Experience in reviewing drawings and engineering change requests • Experience with medical programs required by OSHA and the Range (e.g. SCAPE, respiratory, material handler, DOT, hearing conservation) • Prior experience working with internal and external customers to include supporting associate contractors • Background knowledge in propellant and ordnance operations. • Current experience performing ESH functions for the contract and missions • Experience with OSHA programs such as Lockout Tagout, Electrical, Respiratory Protection, Fall Protection, Hazard Communication, Aerial Work platforms, Crane operations, Accident investigation, Recordkeeping, Lead and Asbestos, etc. • Environmental management system experience. Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $63,800 - $112,470. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
