Ascension is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Med Surg Telemetry unit to join our faith-based healthcare team. Our RNs are crucial to monitoring patients' vital signs, managing care plans, and ensuring the best possible outcomes in the Med Surg Telemetry unit. Monitor patient health status and adjust care plans as necessary. Perform cardiac monitoring, interpret telemetry data, and respond to varying vitals and alerts. Administer medications, document therapeutic effects, and report adverse reactions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide holistic care. Educate patients and families on management of illnesses and post-hospital treatment. Participate in continuous quality improvement processes and clinical governance. Proficient in telemetry and operating medical equipment. Excellent clinical skills in a Med Surg environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
