HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital is seeking a dedicated RN Clinical Nurse Charge for our Medical-Surgical unit. This role is pivotal in managing nursing care on the unit, overseeing patient care administration, and guiding staff towards achieving excellence in clinical operations. As a leader within our dynamic med-surg team, the charge nurse will be essential in fostering a supportive environment that reflects our commitment to patient safety, optimal health outcomes, and the highest standards of healthcare. Coordinate and manage daily clinical operations in the Med-Surg unit including patient care, staff assignments, and resource management. Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality of care. Facilitate seamless communication among all members of the healthcare team. Lead periodic staff reviews and provide mentorship to nursing staff. Implement policy and procedures consistent with hospital regulations and standards. Advocate for patients and staff to ensure both receive the support and resources necessary. Participate in recruitment and training of new staff members. Monitor and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
