This position involves providing top-tier nursing care to patients in our progressive care unit who have experienced severe injuries and require close monitoring and complex assessment. In this critical role, you will collaborate with a team of highly skilled healthcare professionals to support recovery and ensure the continuity of care for trauma patients. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a deep commitment to patient health, the ability to manage multiple patient needs, and proficient use of medical technology. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor patient health and progress while managing multiple complex care needs in the progressive care unit. Administer medications accurately, observe patients' response, and document necessary updates. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure a cohesive care plan. Implement patient care plans and participate in diagnostic testing and interpretation. Promote patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
