This role is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of care and ensuring the effective delivery of trauma-related services to meet the diverse needs of the community we serve. The RN Coord Trauma will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate and coordinate comprehensive care for trauma patients, ensuring all services comply with established guidelines and regulatory standards. Develop and implement trauma care programs in alignment with the latest clinical guidelines. Lead the trauma team in the assessment, planning, and treatment of patients. Organize ongoing education and training for trauma staff to ensure best practices are followed. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes. Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations concerning trauma care. Participate in research and performance improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient and service records.
