This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and operational management of the unit while supporting our mission to provide top-tier health services. The ideal candidate will coordinate patient care, manage nursing staff, and improve departmental procedures with a compassionate, patient-focused approach. Oversee the daily operations of the med-surg unit, ensuring effective patient care and compliance with hospital policies. Coordinate and evaluate nursing staff, providing guidance, training, and performance reviews. Develop and implement policies and procedures that improve quality of care and efficiency of the unit. Manage patient care planning, including assessment, interventions, and patient/family education. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes. Ensure the unit is compliant with healthcare regulations and standards. Manage staffing schedules, patient assignments, and resource allocation efficiently.
