HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team. The RN CVOR will work in a technologically advanced surgical environment, supporting surgeons in procedures involving the heart and blood vessels, ensuring the highest quality care is provided in a state-of-the-art facility. This position requires superior clinical skills in the field of cardiovascular surgery, a compassionate approach to patient care, and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes. Assist in cardiovascular surgeries, providing direct and indirect patient care. Ensure a sterile and safe surgical environment. Administer medications and monitor patient status during surgery. Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to plan and implement complex procedures. Document all surgical interventions and patient interactions. Participate in pre- and post-surgical assessments and care planning. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and health management. Advanced knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and surgical procedures. Proficiency in operating specialized surgical equipment. Skill in patient monitoring and critical care. Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
