HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgical Services team in the Operating Room (OR). Provide direct and specialized nursing services to surgical patients in the Operating Room. Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring sterility and availability of necessary equipment and supplies. Assist surgeons during operations, anticipating needs and managing surgical instruments. Monitor patient vital signs and adjust specialized equipment during surgery. Collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care before, during, and after surgery. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and health management. Adhere to hospital safety protocols and surgical procedures to minimize risks and maximize patient outcomes.
