This role requires a commitment to enhancing patient outcomes through efficient preoperative and postoperative nursing. Assess patient condition before surgery and prepare patients physically and emotionally for surgical procedures. Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assist in pain management. Educate patients and their families on preoperative and postoperative care, ensuring thorough understanding of recovery processes. Coordinate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care throughout the surgical process. Maintain accurate, complete health care records and reports. Adhere to safety standards and protocols while ensuring sterile environment maintenance. Strong clinical skills with a focus on surgical nursing Excellent patient assessment capabilities Proficiency in administering medications and managing pain Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical teams Detail-oriented with high standards of cleanliness and safety Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida.
