HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Obstetrics (OB) department, focusing on night shifts. This role is fundamental in providing high-quality medical care and creating a compassionate environment for our patients. As part of our OB team, you will work in a state-of-the-art facility, contributing to a range of services from prenatal to postnatal care. This position is ideal for someone passionate about women's health and looking to make a significant impact in the lives of mothers and newborns. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to women and newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases. Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing during pregnancy and childbirth, using appropriate medical tools and protocols. Educate and support families on prenatal and postnatal care. Administer medications and treatments safely according to physician’s orders and hospital policies. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and women's health. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergent situations. Proficient in using healthcare software and systems for patient documentation.
